Koi Herpes virusKoi Herpes virus is an important
pathogen of Koi carp. This is highly contagious causing an acute gill disease causing high mortality. Disease is prevalent
at temperatures over 180C. Although histopathology may identify inclusion bodies, the rapid autolysis of the fish
and its gills may limit the usefulness of this technique. The detection of Koi-specific Herpes virus is possible by means
of PCR. Sample
