Animal Laboratory Services Trading Terms and Conditions of Contract
1 Definitions
a. “The Company” means PinMoore Animal Laboratory Services.
b. “The Customer” means the person, firm, company or organisation placing an order with the
Company.
c. “The Test(s) means the test or tests carried out by the Company on behalf of the Customer.
d. “The Submission” means the request to carry out a test sent by the Customer to the Company.
e. “The Sample” means the tissue, fluid or other material sent to the Company on which the
Test is to be carried out.
2 General
a. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no terms or conditions of the customer shall
be incorporated or deemed to be incorporated in the contract.
b. Order should be initiated by the completion of a Submission. The Company is not responsible for errors
and/or omissions caused as a result of communicating orders in a different manner.
3 Prices
a. Prices shall be as set out in the price list published from time to time by the Company and available
from the Company’s offices.
b. The price charged for a Test shall be that in the latest price list published by the Company.
c. Prices are subject to the addition of VAT or other such taxes and duties that may apply from time
to time.

4 Terms of Payment
a. Payment of invoices shall be due on the 21st of the month following the date of invoice.
b. Where payment is made after the due date, the Company reserves the right to charge interest at 1.5%
per month.
5 Transit
a. The Customer shall ensure that Samples are sent to the Company in suitable containers.
b. The Company shall not be responsible for the validity of Tests when inappropriate transit media have
been used.
6 Warranties
- The Company shall use best endeavours
to ensure the validity of test results.
- The Company undertakes, where test results
have proved to be invalid or significantly inaccurate to (at the discretion of the Company) either to re-perform the test
free of charge or refund the price of the test to the Customer.
7 Force Majeure
a. If by reason of fire, flood, drought, other adverse weather conditions, accident, strike,
industrial action, lockout, riot, civil commotion, Government prohibition or restriction, war or any other cause or event
beyond the control of the Company or the Customer, the Company shall not be liable in any way for loss or damage arising directly
or indirectly through or in consequence of any such events or happenings.
8 Legal Construction
a. The interpretation of any contract and of these terms and conditions will in accordance with English
law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
